My artwork made for Glitchtober 2025, for the Day 6 prompt “Swamp,” was showcased in New York City at The Skinny's Digital Art Salon, alongside 31 artists. This year, I contributed to Glitchtober 2025 every single day and connected with glitch artists from around the world.

In my works for Glitchtober 2025, I combined a variety of glitch techniques — datamoshing, databending, analog video synthesizer glitches, and AI models trained on my own glitch art and motion patterns. Using all these mediums together, I built interconnected worlds around them.

The Day 6 piece was one of those worlds, titled “Broadcasting from Swampkin Dreamstate.” “Swampkin Dreamstate” is a recurring concept in my earlier works — using the swamp as a metaphor for mental states that trigger hallucinatory visions, revealing shifting images formed around the idea of swamps. That was my contribution to Glitchtober 2025.

"Swamp is the meta for new reality"

Glitchtober 2025 premiered on October 22 at The Skinny in NYC, as part of the Digital Art Salon. This live screening featured 31 glitch shorts—each selected from community submissions responding to our daily October prompts. The collection was curated by The Visceral Glitch, Jrdsctt, and the Glitch Artists Collective, with support from Objkt.com. Each day in October, artists were invited to create around a single prompt.

Glitchtober began in 2018 as a personal challenge by Jrdsctt, offering a glitch-based alternative to Inktober. The idea was simple: one spooky, glitch-inspired artwork every day in October—no drawing skills required. By 2020, it had grown into a global community event, with prompt lists co-created by Jrdsctt and Maddy, and embraced by the Glitch Artists Collective. Since then, artists have contributed everything from visual art to music, writing, and sculpture—shared across platforms like Instagram and Twitter. Now, in 2025, Glitchtober enters a new era. With support from Objkt and Tezos, the project expands into Web3 while staying grounded in what it's always been about: experimentation, creative freedom, and the power of the glitch.
